수업에서 선생님이 질문하셨을 때, 영어로 한 번에 대답하지 못했던 부분을 따로 정리했다는 상황이네요.

• (격식) I organized the things I couldn't say in English when the teacher asked questions during class.
• (일상) I wrote down what I couldn't answer in English during class.
• (간단) I made a list of the things I couldn't say in English in class.
• (더 자연스럽게) I went over the things I couldn't respond to in English when the teacher asked me something in class.
• (학생끼리) I jotted down what I wanted to say in English but couldn't during the lesson.

"couldn't say"를 쓸 때, 내가 떠올리지 못했거나 자신감이 없어서 대답하지 못한 경우 모두 자연스럽게 사용할 수 있어요. 문장 맨 앞에 "Today,"나 "After class,"를 붙여주면 더 상황에 맞게 쓸 수 있답니다.
