심리학 박사 과정 중이시며, 수년간의 온라인전화영어 경력으로 즐거운 수업 진행하여 주십니다. 연륜에서 묻어나오는 살짝 허스키한 목소리를 가지셨어요^^ 정말 박학 다식하심. 말이 빠르신 편은 아닙니다.

I have been working as an ESL Instructor for the past seven years.

Welcome! Hello, my name is Carolyn Weed and I would like to take this opportunity to talk about my students. I believe in creating a community of learners, to encourage my students to feel like friends and family. I believe this is the best method to foster student faculty interaction and exchange, leading to better communication.

환영합니다.  안녕하세요~ Carolyn 입니다. 이번기회로 학생들에게 인사를 하고 싶어요. 저는 학생들을 친구 또는 가족처럼 대하면서 다독거려주면서 수업을 진행합니다. 이런방법이 학생과 강사사이에서 커뮤니케이션을 증진시킬수 있는 가장 효과적인 방법이라고 생각합니다.


I enjoy teaching because of using humor strategically. This often generates provocative questions, and responses. If I can encourage my students to laugh and learn English at the same time, I feel I am succeeding. I also believe it’s important to use technology to create and encourage critical thinking.

저는 유머와 함께 하는 티칭이 너무나 즐겁습니다. 유머는 질문과 대답을 하도록 유도합니다. 학생을 웃게 만들면서 동시에 영어를 가르친다면, 제 스스로 성공적인 수업이라고 생각합니다. 또한 비판적으로 사고를 하도록 유도하는 것도 중요한 티칭 기술이라고 생각합니다.


My goal is to build a rapport with students, so they know me, and feel comfortable when we are having a conversation. We keep records of communication to include relevant student information and progress reports. Flexibility in having discussions with students in areas that are important and relevant to each student individually encourages personal growth in learning how to speak English.

제목표는 학생들과 친밀한 유도관계를 쌓아서, 학생들도 저에 대해서 아주 잘알고, 대화할때 학생들에게 편안하게 해주는것입니다.  저는 계속해서 개별 학생들에 관계된 정보, 대화내용 및 수업진행과정 등을 기록하여, 학생이 관심있어야는 분야 및 학생과 관계된 내용에 관하여 이야기 합니다. 이는 학생의 영어 스피킹 실력을 향상하는데에 큰 도움이 됩니다.
